PHOTOSHOP PROBLEM!

help help!!! the problem is with the pen tool.

well, everytime i close a path, then i use the "fill path",
but instead of filling the closed path, it fills up everything outside it. :noes:
i need help! PLEAAASEEE! i cnt finish my first line art if i dnt find an answer this!!! :cry:
